Our Grand Vin des Verdots range is designed for wine lovers and epicureans. It will delight the most experienced taste buds. These are cuvées for ageing, proud representatives of our exceptional terroir.

AOP Côtes de Bergerac Rouge – For boxes and wooden crates of 6 and 12 bottles, the unit cost of the bottle is 22€.

Grapes: 50% Merlot, 20%Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc
Alcohol: 14,5%

Story

This cuvée comes from a fine selection of plots of clay-limestone with millstone on shallow soil. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in oak barrels and the wine is aged in the estate's cellar by the river Verdots. It is all these stages that make this wine a Grand Vin. It can be kept for five to ten years or enjoyed young for a different but equally rich experience.

Tasting note

Our Grand Vin Rouge has a purple colour with an intense and aromatic nose. On the palate, this cuvée combines power and finesse with silky tannins, plenty of volume on notes of red fruit, and a finish with soft roasted and spicy touches. For an exceptional tasting, we advise you to associate it with red meat, duck and game meals.
