Developed by a panel of experts led by Andreas Larsson, Best Sommelier of the World, La Folie comes from our best Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc from the Bergerac region blended with a Syrah from the Provençal region and a Spanish Tempranillo.

Story

Following the success of our first “Folie” and always in the spirit of bringing you excellence and originality, Maison Wessman has imagined a unique experience with a blend led by Andreas Larsson, Best Sommelier of the world, and Julien Viaud, renowned oenologist from the Rolland & Associés. It was during this that the second edition of La Folie saw the light of day, extending well beyond the borders, thanks to a blend of the best wines from our property, with wines from magnificent terroirs of the Provençal region and Spain.

Tasting note

“We have the freshness and elegance of Bergerac, which we find on the limestone plateau of Issigeac. The Syrah from Provence brings a gourmet side, with licorice and violet. The tempranillo gives the spicier side” according to Julien Viaud from Michel Rolland & Associés.
