An extremely distinctive, very high quality Périgord wine crafted from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, it will inspire even the most seasoned connoisseur. The secret to its distinctive character undoubtedly lies first in its unique terroir. It is crafted with rigorously selected grapes from exceptional micro-parcels in the greatly underestimated terroirs of Saint Cernin de Labarde and the plateau d’Issigeac in Périgord.

The low yields of the 2019 harvest make this a rare and prestigious vintage.

Tasting note

N°1 Saint-Cernin reveals gourmet aromas of brown tobacco, candied cherries and mentholated blackcurrants. After a lively attack, the palate takes on notes of black fruit, liquorice and sweet notes reminiscent of southern tapenades. An expressive wine that reveals the liquorice and fruity signature of this terroir.
