Our Wines
N°1 Saint-Cernin Rouge
N°1 Saint-Cernin Rouge is a wine that you will want to introduce your friends to.
An extremely distinctive, very high quality Périgord wine crafted from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, it will inspire even the most seasoned connoisseur.
The secret to its distinctive character undoubtedly lies first in its unique terroir. It is crafted with rigorously selected grapes from exceptional micro-parcels in the greatly underestimated terroirs of Saint Cernin de Labarde and the plateau d’Issigeac in Périgord.
The expert guidance of world-renowned enologists, Michel Rolland and his partner Julien Viaud, ensures that N°1 Saint-Cernin Rouge reaches the fullest expression of its distinctive terroir while achieving genuine excellence.
With a highly complex aromatic palate, beautiful structure and perfect balance, this wine is above all the result of our commitment to respecting the highest standards at every step of the growing and vinification process.
First, extremely meticulous, sustainable vine management ensures that the grapes are perfectly aerated, ventilated and sheltered by the leaves with perfect exposition to the generous sun.
The grapes are rigorously selected including double sorting, before and after destemming, to leave only the very ripest, healthiest fruit. Our vinification processes are carefully monitored to minimize alteration of the fruit at all times.
Finally, shortly after the end of the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is placed in medium toasted French oak barrels where it undergoes malolactic fermentation and is matured for nine to twelve months.
N°1 Saint-Cernin Blanc
N°1 Saint–Cernin AOP Limoux Blanc, a remarkable white for people who want more.
No ordinary Chardonnay, N°1 Saint–Cernin Blanc is crafted with grapes from the Haute Vallée terroir of Limoux in the foothills of the Pyrénées in southwest France.
Maison Wessman is committed to giving the fullest expression to this high potential terroir by respecting the highest standards at every step of the growing and production process.
First every effort is made to use only environmentally respectful vine growing techniques such as using organic fertilizers only for fertilization of the soil, leaving grass cover on part of the vines to prevent erosion, preserving the hedges surrounding the vines and respecting the biodiversity of the vines’ ecosystem.
The grapes are manually harvested to select only the perfectly ripened grapes.
Maison Wessman practices extremely strict selection of the grapes, guaranteeing selection of only the finest grapes from the highest quality parcels.
Finally the wine is aged under French oak for nine months. The barrels are regularly “bâtonnées”, in other words the contents are stirred with a stick to resuspend the lees. This painstaking manual process is time consuming but further contributes to the quality of the wine.
Perfectly balanced, tasty and fat with incredible length on the mouth, this superb white will surprise and enchant even the most discerning connoisseur.

Petit Cernin Blanc
At Maison Wessman we believe in the importance of beginnings. That is why we have created Petit Cernin blanc, a delightfully young, vibrant wine for those who think every day is worth celebrating.
Petit Cernin blanc is composed of manually harvested 100% Chardonnay grapes cultivated at an altitude of around 350 meters in the Pyrénées, in the Haute Vallée and Océanic terroirs of the Limoux appellation. It is then vinified exclusively in oak barrels for a minimum of seven months on fine lees which are carefully stirred every 15 days using the process called “bâtonnage”.
We understand that crafting a more approachable yet truly satisfying wine is no simple task. So we ensure that Petit Cernin blanc gets the full benefit of our in-depth experience of the terroir and on-going commitment to selecting only the finest grapes.
Petit Cernin blanc is a fruit-forward, perfectly balanced Chardonnay with a lovely expression of aromas. Imminently pleasurable and immediately gratifying, it is an engaging introduction to our wines and the start of what we hope will be a long journey with us.

Champagne Wessman One Premier Cru Brut
Intended for connoisseurs, this Champagne Premier Cru Brut AOP is a blend of Pinot Noir (75%), from Aÿ 100% Cru village and Chardonnay (25%) from Côte des Blancs terroir.
The Pinot Noir, from the 100% Cru d’Aÿ in Montagne de Reims, brings body and distinctive fruit aromas while the Chardonnay, from the 100% Cru of Côte des Blancs, brings delicate floral notes and excellent ageing potential. These notes are then underlined by soft woody aromas that bring even more complexity to its fine aromatic palette.
The two terroirs, respectively characterized by a deep limestone subsoil and a limestone subsoil outcropping on the surface, ensure an ideal water supply giving an excellent balance to the wines, between freshness and sugar.
